Twitter and Monstrous Dolls

Recently, I decided to do a few things to be a bit more sociable online. This blog is one of those things. Also, I signed up on Twitter, which is a sort-of mini-blog on the topic of "What are you doing?".

A little while later, I logged back in to post an update and found that someone was following me (I'm not paranoid, that's what they call subscribing to your posts on Twitter). I figured it was like what I call "friend spam" on MySpace.

I was surprised and delighted to see that my first "follower" makes unique dolls, some of them rather monstrous. At this writing the front page features a Christmas ornament with an odd Santa head, on what looks like a seahorse.

Specter-Reclamation / EPA Battle

A New York City-based specter-reclamation firm has been shut down by the Environmental Protection Agency despite a "massive increase in paranormal phenomena" in recent weeks. Employees have been arrested including rising paranormal star Dr. Peter Venkman.

EPA Shuts Down Local Ghost-Entrapment Business

After reading this article, I couldn't resist sharing it with my readers. It's my first link to a humorous article. Hope you enjoy.

Blog Two

While working on my main blog, The American Yeti Blogger, there are many things I'd like to post that aren't in the spirit of the website, so I discard them. Recently, I linked to a humorous article on The Onion and it just felt completely out of place.

By having an external blog on Blogger, it should help a bit with finding new readers who wouldn't otherwise find me. And I can keep my topics focused for those who subscribe to my main RSS feed who don't want to read the off-topic stuff.

So here we go.
